The vivo V60 Malaysia is a premium-mid smartphone that offers compelling features at a strong price. You’ll notice its large 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, making videos and games feel very smooth. Moreover, the cameras are impressive — co-engineered with ZEISS, the rear setup includes a 50MP main plus a 50MP super-telephoto lens for serious zooming. In addition, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with large battery capacity and 90W fast-charging. Whether you’re into photography, multitasking or watching content, the vivo V60 ticks many boxes.
The vivo V60 feels premium because it uses refined materials and a bold yet clean design. Moreover, the large 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with 120 Hz refresh rate means your motions — scrolling, swiping, gaming — all feel fluid rather than choppy. In addition, the display supports very high peak brightness and a wide colour gamut, so using it outdoors or watching HDR content is a pleasure. The curved edges of the screen add a touch of class but still keep the device comfortable to hold. However, being a large screen, it might feel a little big for one-hand use if your hands are small. On balance though, the screen and build quality are strong for the price.
Under the hood the vivo V60 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset (4nm) with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. As a result, you get smooth performance for everyday tasks like social media, streaming, multitasking and even some heavy games. Furthermore, the system is paired with Funtouch OS 15 (Android 15), which means you’ll receive modern features and updates. That said, while the V60 performs well, the GPU isn’t quite at ultra-flagship levels — so extreme gaming settings might push it. Nevertheless, for most users who care more about camera, battery and display, the performance is more than adequate.
The camera system is the star of the show on the V60. The triple rear camera combo includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ZEISS-co-engineered telephoto capable of strong zoom-and-portrait work, and an 8MP ultra-wide for landscapes and group shots. Therefore, whether you’re capturing distant subjects or close portraits, the V60 handles it well. For selfies there’s a 50MP front camera with ZEISS portrait enhancements. Moreover, you get advanced features like “Telephoto Stage Portrait” and “Four-Season Portrait” mode thanks to the ZEISS collaboration. However, as with many high-zoom phones, ultra-zoom performance might still fall slightly behind ultra-flagship periscopes in terms of detail. Still, in its class the V60 camera experience is excellent.
Battery life on the V60 is outstanding thanks to its large 6,500mAh BlueVolt battery system. You can comfortably use the phone throughout the day or even into the next. In addition, 90W fast charging means you can juice up quickly — for example a short top-up gives many hours of usage. Therefore, if you’re someone always out and about, the V60 delivers the endurance you need. The cooling and system optimisation also help keep performance smooth during longer sessions of use.
The vivo V60 Malaysia is a standout mid-premium phone that delivers many flagship-level features without reaching ultra-flagship prices. You get a large, smooth 120Hz display, a powerful telephoto camera system thanks to ZEISS, a massive battery with fast charging, and a strong performer in everyday use. While it may not have some ultra-luxury features like wireless charging or the very top chipset in its category, it strikes an excellent balance between performance, camera, battery and cost. If you want a phone that handles both photography and daily use very well — without breaking the bank — the V60 is definitely worth your consideration.
